Following a bombshell new revelation connected to the infamous, now-deceased child rapist and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Britain’s already disgraced Prince Andrew has reportedly been advised to “leave the country.”
According to emails obtained by popular British tabloid The Sun, King Charles’ younger brother did not, in fact, cut ties with Manhattan’s notorious financier and pedophile, but rather went out of his way to pointedly tell Epstein, “we are in this together” after the infamous photo of him with teenage abuse victim Virginia Giuffre first went public — prompting The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson to publicly urge the disgraced member of the royal family to “leave the country” altogether.
Wilkinson’s remarks came in a blistering new piece for the British tabloid, in which he made one thing strikingly clear: “If he [Prince Andrew] has an honorable bone in his own body, he should leave the country.”
The bombshell email was newly revealed by the tabloid over the weekend and serves to directly contradict an interview given to the BBC by the Duke of York, in which he publicly asserted that he had cut any and all contact with this convicted child sex offender and sex trafficker no later than Feb. 28, 2011. This interview came at the same time that the infamous photo of Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell was first made public.
But according to the emails newly obtained and released by The Sun, that was a bald-faced lie.
In that email, the British royal told Epstein to “keep in close touch” and went on to express his desire to “play some more soon.”
Wilkinson ripped him to shreds:
Andrew’s Jeffrey Epstein scandal will not go away so maybe it’s finally time the arrogant Duke did. The Palace has let it be known that Andy should at the very least ‘uninvite himself’ for Christmas with the family. But the notion that he is capable of using his best judgment for the wider benefit of himself and his family is naive and laughable.”
Prince Andrew formally relinquished all of his official royal duties in 2019 as a direct result of the Epstein Scandal and remains a non-working royal to this day. However, he does continue to reside at Royal Lodge and only the country’s government — not the king and/or queen — has the power to officially strip him of his royal title.
“The late Queen and now the King have tried everything to punish the Duke but are now left with few levers to pull,” Wilkinson wrote. “It is now clear Andrew’s Newsnight interview was not only a car crash but not completely candid either.”
