The Resistance Report is a Left-leaning news, opinion, editorial, and entertainment publication founded, owned, and operated by Andrea Thompson.

Andrea is based out of Western Kentucky and holds an educational background and more than a decade of experience in political science and reporting.

It is important to note that The Resistance Report, as indicated by the name, is a Liberal-leaning publication. We intend to always be forthcoming and transparent with our audience and want to ensure all our readers understand that we do operate from a place of political bias.

The Resistance Report was founded to fill a gap in reporting from the side of The Resistance. It has grown increasingly difficult to find a news publication in this political climate that does not feature “both sides-ism” — the concept that both sides of the political aisle deserve equal attention, reporting, and consideration; oftentimes at the expense of the truth.

The Resistance Report does not operate on the assumption that both sides have valid points.

Instead, this publication is built on the foundation of the now-infamous quote: “If someone says it’s raining & another person says it’s dry, it’s not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out the f*cking window and find out which is true.”

You will not find reporting on the “good” qualities of the GOP at The Resistance Report. What you will ALWAYS find here, however, is the truth.
