“You Want Me To Go Swimming?”: Trump Gives Truly Bizarre Answer When Asked If He Will Visit Fatal Air Crash Site

In the wake of the horrifying D.C. air crash tragedy that claimed 67 lives this week, newly installed President Donald Trump gave a rather astonishing and eyebrow-raising response when he was asked whether or not he would visit the site of the deadly crash.

On Wednesday evening, an America Airlines plane collided with a Blackhawk helicopter over the Potomac River. Law enforcement officials announced on Thursday that there were no survivors.

President Trump initially reacted to the news with a barrage of unprofessional social media posts Wednesday night. Thursday morning, the president held an official press briefing on the matter, where he openly blamed the incident on his predecessors, DEI hires, and even the American soldier who was piloting the Blackhawk helicopter.

To make matters that much worse, Donald Trump went on to further discuss the deadly air crash with reporters inside the Oval Office, during which he was asked whether or not he intended to visit the site of the fatal crash that saw no survivors.

The response Trump gave raised some eyebrows, to say the very least.

“Have you spoken to any of the families of the victims of the plane crash?” one reporter asked the president in the Oval Office.

“I don’t want to comment on that,” Trump responded.

The reporter continued to press, asking, “Do you have a plan to go visit the site?”

“I have a plan to visit that site because you tell me,” President Trump shot back, “What’s the site? The water? You want me to go swimming?”

“Or to meet with the responders down there?” the reporter further questioned.

“I don’t have a plan to do that, but I will be meeting with some people that were very badly hurt with their family member, obviously. But I’ll be meeting with some of the families,” Donald answered.
