“Too Big! Too Dirty!”: Donald Trump Goes Off In Unhinged, Shouty Caps Rap, Trying To Defend What Elon Musk Has Done

There’s certainly no denying that tech billionaire and Trump jockey Elon Musk is under an intense amount of scrutiny and backlash this week after his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) gained access to a trove of sensitive government financial information that has left millions of Americans deeply concerned about their security just a few short weeks into Donald Trump’s already horrifying term.

With the heat ever increasing on his good pal, Trump took to his Truth Social echo chamber with a positively unhinged and all-caps attack against USAID, in an attempt to defend what his billionaire buddy has done.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) — an independent agency of the US government that’s responsible for administrating civilian foreign aid and development assistance — has become the first target for Elon Musk and his gang of unelected DOGE employees. Those employees, specifically, have been scrutinized by Americans for their resounding lack of experience and expertise, coupled with their extremely and increasingly heavy hand that reeks of little more than a desperate desire for unchecked power.

As the backlash increases, Trump is attempting to swoop in to the rescue and defend what they’ve done — complete with his trademarked shouty caps.

“LOOKS LIKE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS HAVE BEEN STOLLEN (sic) AT USAID, AND OTHER AGENCIES, MUCH OF IT GOING TO THE FAKE NEWS MEDIA AS A ‘PAYOFF’ FOR CREATING GOOD STORIES ABOUT THE DEMOCRATS. THE LEFT WING ‘RAG,’ KNOWN AS ‘POLITICO,’ SEEMS TO HAVE RECEIVED $8,000,000,” Trump fired off on Truth Social this morning.

“Did the New York Times receive money??? Who else did??? THIS COULD BE THE BIGGEST SCANDAL OF THEM ALL, PERHAPS THE BIGGEST IN HISTORY! THE DEMOCRATS CAN’T HIDE FROM THIS ONE. TOO BIG, TOO DIRTY,” he continued to screech.

It’s certainly of note here that the rumor regarding USAID money being given to Politico in any way has long been thoroughly debunked after the conspiracy theory was first catapulted into the spotlight by Turning Point USA head Charlie Kirk and accused plagiarist Benny Johnson.

CNN reported on the matter: “I looked at these contracts and I have my own fun fact,’ Byron Tau, an investigative reporter at the Associated Press, said via X. ‘This is occurring because agencies (not just USAID) are buying subscriptions to Politico’s Pro editorial product, not because Politico is getting grants or other federal funding.'”
