President Donald J. Trump was just handed yet another brutal loss in his plan for unchecked power and control after a New Hampshire federal judge slammed down his disgusting executive order to end birthright citizenship in the US for what is now the third time.
The injunction that halted the controversial and frankly sickening executive order served as the third time that Donald’s plan has been shot down and hindered in the courts.
The executive order sought to dismantle the birthright policy that allowed children of undocumented immigrants to become United States citizens if they were born in the USA. Birthright citizenship is enshrined in the US Constitution — meaning that Donald Trump has already set his sights on the very fabric of this nation and everything it stands for… With less than a month in office under his belt.
The injunction was issued by New Hampshire’s Judge Joseph N. Laplante and was effective immediately. He noted that he would expand on his reasonings for the injunction in detail on Tuesday.
Judge Laplante was far from the only US federal judge to bring Donald Trump’s overreaching and racism-fueled order to its knees, as similar orders were issued by federal judges in Seattle and Maryland just last week. Multiple lawsuits have been filed across the nation in recent days, directly challenging Donald Trump’s attempts to alter the United States Constitution.
The lawsuit that was filed in New Hampshire and resulted in this most recent injunction was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) — the infamous American nonprofit civil rights organization that provides legal assistance in cases where civil liberties are at risk.
