Marjorie Taylor Greene Pitches Early Morning Temper Tantrum Against Her Own Party: “Our Country Is Sinking”

Georgia Right-wing House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is wasting no time in making life as difficult as possible for her own party and, more specifically, Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

Recently, Republicans participated in a retreat with newly-inaugurated President Donald Trump at his resort in Doral, Florida.

Greene took to her X account bright and early this morning to tell the world just how useless all of her fellow Republicans really are.

Writing in her temper tantrum post at just after 6 am, Greene accused those who attended the retreat of getting practically nothing done.

“After two days at our House Republican winter retreat, we still do not have a plan on budget reconciliation and our Speaker and his team have not offered one,” Greene fumed on X (formerly known as Twitter.) “Not even if we are in a one bill or two bill framework, even though President Trump (who prefers one big beautiful bill) literally told us here at the start of our conference that he now does not care if it’s one or two.”

The highly controversial conspiracy theorist and Republican Congresswoman went on to openly question the utility of the retreat altogether, as she argued that essentially nothing substantial or productive came out of the two-day-long meeting amongst the most notable GOP names.

“We have only been presented with the same policy and budget cut proposals that we have been presented with for a month now at all our meetings and at a full Saturday conference meeting earlier this month,” Greene wrote on social media. “I would say sink or swim, but our country is already sinking, so we MUST swim.”

However, she made sure to wrap up her temper tantrum with an unashamed, heaping helping of praise for President Trump and his recent onslaught of increasingly disturbing executive orders that he’s been divvying out since taking office less than two weeks ago — including his decision to pardon and release hundreds of violent criminals who stormed the Capitol in his name on January 6th, 2020 — and called on Republican Congress to start doing more.

“Next time we meet, I hope to know a framework of our plan and I hope this doesn’t turn into another bill with thousands of pages dumped on us with less than 72 hours to read it all before we have to vote on the eve of another government shutdown,” Greene’s fuming statement concluded. “But why would I expect different?”
