Critics Deliver Chilling Warning As Trump Issues His Newest, Most Horrific Executive Order Yet: “A King With A Sharpie”

Donald Trump has been dropping executive orders like dead flies since the very moment he returned to the White House last month and it seems like each one somehow manages to be even more insane and unhinged than the last.

However, his latest order was so deeply concerning that it triggered alarm bells for experts and critics across the nation who are now desperately trying to warn the American people that this could be Donald Trump’s biggest and most consequential power grab yet — and, if he’s truly successful, American democracy will never be the same again.

This week, Donald J. Trump issued an executive order declaring that only the sitting president and the attorney general have the authority to speak for and define “what the law is” in the United States of America. That particularly unsettling declaration came last in a series of executive orders that were issued by the sitting US president from his Mar-a-Lago golf resort this week.

It certainly doesn’t take a genius to realize that an order of this magnitude would essentially make Donald Trump a king, as it would grant him to full and complete power to interpret the law of the land in whatever way would best suit his needs and desires.

The horrifying order sparked instant outcry among Americans and triggered an onslaught of warnings from critics and experts, desperate to make the American people see just how serious and terrifying this truly is.

National security analyst Maine Wonk took to social media above a clip of the terrifying announcement and wrote, “Trump Administration is setting up a constitutional crisis because they want civil unrest to enact martial law.”

Podcast host and recovered Republican Jack Hopkins warned his followers on Bluesky, “This should concern you more than any executive order so far.”

FactPostNews wrote on X, “Trump official announces that Trump has signed an executive order claiming that only the president can speak for ‘what the law is.’ (This is not how the Constitution works.)”

Analyst and podcast host Brian Allen warned his followers on X that Trump’s order was “A full-blown power grab wrapped in authoritarian cosplay.”

“This isn’t how the Constitution works. The courts exist for a reason, but Trump is out here acting like a king with a Sharpie,” he wrote. “If this stands, the rule of law doesn’t just bend—it breaks.”
