See Trump’s Late Night, Caps-Lock Temper Tantrum On Major League Baseball

After absolutely humiliating this nation during his Oval Office “meeting” (or, rather, screaming match) with Ukrainian President Volodymry Zelensky, President Donald Trump took a break from his continued attack against the Ukrainian leader on his Truth Social echo chamber to instead briefly turn his attention and his ire towards Major League Baseball.

In a late-night, unhinged, and caps-locked Truth Social post at around 10:30 last night, Trump announced that he would be post-humously pardoning the late Pete Rose, who was banned from ever entering the Baseball Hall of Fame for illegally betting on games and served some time in prison for tax evasion — a crime that apparently holds a special place in Donald’s heart.

In his half-baked and wholly deranged Truth Social post, Trump declared that the real disgrace here was not what Rose had done but rather the shunning of the now-deceased longtime Cincinnati Reds player, who later went on to also play for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Montreal Expos.

“Major League Baseball didn’t have the courage or decency to put the late, great, Pete Rose, also known as ‘Charlie Hustle,’ into the Baseball Hall of fame. Now he is dead, will never experience the thrill of being selected, even though he was a FAR BETTER PLAYER than most of those who made it, and can only be named posthumously. WHAT A SHAME!” Trump fumed in his late-night rant.

“Anyway, over the next few weeks I will be signing a complete PARDON of Pete Rose, who shouldn’t have been gambling on baseball, but only bet on HIS TEAM WINNING. He never betted (sic) against himself, or the other team. He had the most hits, by far, in baseball history, and won more games than anyone in sports history. Baseball, which is dying all over the place, should get off its fat, lazy ass, and elect Pete Rose, even though far too late, into the Baseball Hall of Fame!”

The Pete Rose pardon comes hot on the heels of the highly controversial pardons Trump divvied out to all of the 1,500-plus January 6th insurectionists as one of his very first moves back in office.
