Trump Now Claims Boxes Of Classified Docs Seized By The FBI Are Now Being Returned To Him, And This Is What He Plans To Do With Them

It’s certainly bad enough that Donald J. Trump is going to effectively dodge any semblance of justice, accountability, or punishment for his multitude of crimes now that he has successfully returned to the White House for a second, albeit nonconsecutive, presidential term.

That includes avoiding any ramifications for his decision to blatantly steal a trove of highly-classified, top-secret government documents upon the end of his first presidential term that he stuffed away in bathrooms and closets at his Mar-a-Lago golf resort and post-White House home in Florida, where he them proceeded to lie to the US federal government about his possession of the materials, leading the Federal Bureau of Investigation to raid his compound and seize boxes upon boxes of classified documents.

With his presidential comeback now secured and just barely a month back in office under his belt, Trump is now claiming that those boxes of classified materials that were seized by the FBI are now being returned to him and, even worse, he has a plan for what he’s going to do with them once they’re back in his possession.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Donald Trump claimed that the US Department of Justice, now firmly back under his control, had “just returned the boxes that Deranged Jack Smith made such a big deal about,” referencing the Garland-appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith who led several cases against Trump, including the infamous Mar-a-Lago documents case.

Donald then went on to confirm his plans for the returned materials, writing, “They are being brought down to Florida and will someday be part of the Trump Presidential Library.”

The sitting US president once again repeated his assertion that he “did absolutely nothing wrong” before referring to the case against him as a political witch hunt for the nth time.

Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort was infamously raided by the FBI in 2022 in an effort by the federal government to retrieve the trove of classified government documents that he had been credibly accused of stealing and stashing away at his luxury golf club.

Now-infamous photographs have now shown that Trump had the boxes of classified US government materials stacked haphazardly nearly to the ceiling in a gleaming yet highly unsecured bathroom inside the resort, that sees hundreds if not thousands of people come in and out of it a day.

The FBI search-and-seizure raid became necessary to secure the documents after the then-former president thwarted multiple attempts by the US government to retrieve them from his Florida club.

The prosecution of Jack Smith’s stolen documents case against Trump was still moving through the US legal system upon Donald’s return to office on January 20th.

Just nine days after Donald Trump’s inauguration, Jack Smith dropped the infamous stolen documents case against him, citing the long-standing Justice Department policy of not indicting a sitting United States president. Smith resigned from the Department of Justice at the same time.
