This morning, US President Donald Trump boarded Air Force One and departed for Jerusalem, where he delivered a big, self-congratulatory speech before the Knesset, the governing body of Israel, marking the peace deal he brokered between Israel and Gaza, the ceasefire against Gaza, and the return of both Israeli and Palestinian hostages.
However, it was only a matter of mere moments before Donald’s big pat-on-the-back speech was interrupted by protesters, leaving Donald so mad that his mouth morphed into a butthole.
Just seconds after Trump opened his mouth before the Israeli parliament, Arab lawmaker Ayman Odeh, head of the Hadash party, and Ofer Cassif, the only Jewish lawmaker in the Arab party, held up signs reading, “Recognize Palestine,” according to a Knesset spokesman who spoke with CNN on the matter.
Odeh took to X following the ordeal, writing, “They kicked me out of the Knesset just for raising the simplest demand, one that the whole international community agrees on: Recognize the State of Palestine! Recognize the simple truth: There are two peoples here, and no one is going anywhere.”

US President Trump was successful in brokering a peace deal between Israel and Hamas that went into effect on October 10th (though it did not secure him the Nobel Peace Prize he was hoping it would). In addition to the ceasefire agreement, the exchange of hostages was a key part of Trump’s 20-point plan. However, nowhere in the peace deal was there a guarantee that the United States would formally recognize Palestine as a state, despite the fact that multiple other allied nations, including France and the UK, have taken steps to push for this formal recognition in order to secure full and true peace in the Middle East.
Both of the men who dared to protest Donald Trump were immediately detained and removed by security. But that seemed to do nothing to quell the American president’s fuming anger, as cameras panned over to Trump’s face and showed that infamous, irate butthole mouth of his on full display.
“That was very efficient,” Trump said as the protesters were removed after interrupting his big talks.
Most of the members of the Knesset were supportive of the American president, chanting “Trump! Trump!” during the brief interruption.
Once he was able to continue his speech, Trump declared that the ceasefire agreement was not only an end to the heinous war, but an end to the “age of terror and death” in the Middle East.
“It’s the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel, and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region. I believe that, so strongly,” Trump said. “This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally told the Knesset that Donald Trump was the “greatest friend” that Israel has ever had in the White House.
“No American president has ever done more for the state of Israel, and as I said in Washington, it ain’t even close,” Netanyahu told the Israeli parliament.
